An adventure! -- The Spanish Chest
I've been writing drama, a period drama and a contemporary one. After I took the course of mixing genres, I found myself drawn into a combo of drama/fantasy. "The Spanish Chest" was born.
It was first called "Mexican Chest," and the story has a Mexican prince. When I saw the image of a Mexican prince, it just not quite cut it. So I went to its cousin, a Spanish prince. Bang, it nailed it. I gave him a name "Felipe." I know a "Felipe," but nothing like this one in the script. I can't give out too much; otherwise you wouldn't see the movie:-). Yes, I'm sure it will make into the theatres. In the middle of doing research for the title, I also found "The Spanish Chest" is one of Agatha Christie's short stories. It's a murder case associated with bloodstains on a Spanish Chest, and of course Poirot is in it!. Now it adds some mystery to the title that makes me even more excited!
